The Abbey on Butler Street: Reviews & Ratings
We were there yesterday. Great atmosphere. The food was delicious. The waiter was attentive but when someone in our group asked about his thoughts on the chicken, he said personal preference. She said so it's not good. He said personal preference. Very odd. The food was served quickly. We had a hard time finding the hostess to be seated. We would come back I had the mac and cheese with bacon. Delicious.
My wife’s Garden Vegetable Gnocchi (w/ Shrimp) had a perfect balance of flavors and textures. My Laurel Hill Trout was excellent in every aspect. Our waitress was delightful.
The Abbey is a really great spot for some delicious food. They serve American style dishes and drinks. I had the Abbey Burger which was delicious, and the Mrs had the Braised Short Rib Gnocchi. Both of our dishes were great. Service was a little slow but overall fine. The wait staff was extremely friendly. I definitely recommend stopping in, and I do plan to return.
I ordered the Seared Tuna Nicoise Salad at Abbey on Butler and it was nothing short of amazing. Everything on the plate was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared—the tuna was perfectly seared, tender, and generous in portion. The eggs, olives, potatoes, and greens were all seasoned so well, and the balance of flavors made every bite feel special. Presentation was gorgeous, service was warm, and the whole experience felt elevated without being pretentious. Highly recommend this dish and this restaurant—Abbey on Butler never disappoints!
First time eating at The Abbey. Really enjoyed ourselves and the service, Scott, was attentive & engaging making the birthday celebration much more enjoyable. My BBQ rubbed chicken quarter dish was excellent and everyone in our party really enjoyed their dish. Only downside is trying to find a parking spot...however I was lucky where others weren't.
Had dinner here this evening with my husband son and his fiancée. The atmosphere is just outstanding. What an interesting building. We sat on the patio and there was a fireplace and overhead heaters. The service was nice and friendly. The food was delicious. Prices reasonable.
Gorgeous patio area with fountain, inside dining with old school character and class and an entire outdoor bar lounge area adjacent to restaurant. Food was delicious, highly recommend the trout!
What an atmosphere! The physical space alone is worth a visit. The food was spectacular! The service, great! It was our first time, and will certainly not be the last. A great space to take friends, family, or that special someone. Indoor and outdoor seating. Visit The Abbey and be transported to a different world. 10/10. Keep it up Abbey.
